This course is located just five minutes away from Santiago with beautiful views of the city, Cibao Valley and the Yaque del Norte River. It was designed by Pete Dye during the same period when he completed his masterpiece the "Diente de Perro" (Teeth of the Dog) in La Romana.
This rough terrain has greens and climbs up very high. The quite hilly layout is surrounded by quiet woodland rather than housing. Although it is a fairly short course, its narrow fairways, small greens, many bunkers and 135 degree slope make it one of the hardest in the country.
